Koinonia is a Greek word meaning fellowship through sharing, community and relationships. It is our belief at Koinonia Counseling that change begins when there is a trusting, and respectful relationship established between counselor and client. Change and growth continues as clients realize that they have choices and freedom, but through this freedom comes responsibility and ownership. Understanding the role a person plays in their own life, taking ownership of past and present choices, as well as continuing to seek to live in a more harmonious manner allows for healing, restoration, and growth.
Krista L. Fox, MA has a Masters degree in Counseling, is a registered psychotherapist and owner of Koinonia Counseling, LLC. Her experience ranges from working in clinical settings with youths to counseling adults, and couples in the private practice arena. She views the role of the counselor as someone who has the honor to be able to walk alongside another in their time of need. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, life adjustment issues, or simply need help viewing life from a different perspective I am here to help you achieve your therapeutic goals.
